Dental

Regular dental cleanings are important to maintaining your pets teeth & overall health.  We use modern and safe ultrasound to clean each tooth throughly, above and below the gum line.  Dental technicians polish teeth to create a smooth tooth surface more resistant to plaque build-up.  A fluoride treatment helps strengthen enamel and reduce tooth sensitivity.  We also have a digital dental radiography unit which allows us to depict the teeth, roots, and bone clearly.  Lastly, we have a board certified veterinary dental specialist on staff who can provide the proper services for more special or complicated dental problems (root canals, caps, gingivectomy, etc).

More information can be found at the Animal Dental Center of WNY section.

Instructions

Do not feed your pet after 8pm the night prior to his/her dental procedure.  You may leave water down, but pick it up first thing in the morning and do not feed breakfast.  If your pet is on any medications, please call the clinic the confirm if they should be given prior to the dental.

Drop-off is between 7:30-7:45am and once the procedure is finished, a staff member will call you and let you know how your pet is doing and schedule a pickup time.
